BEN ZION SURDUT – AN HONOURABLE TRUSTEE OF JCS

Ben-Zion, a devout family man, has dedicated his adult life to playing an integral role in the welfare of the Jewish community. Hailing from Mufulira in Northern Zimbabwe, Ben qualified as an attorney in 1965, and furthered his studies to garner an enviable range of professional skills. He has sat on numerous Boards within the Jewish Community over the past 35 years and is currently a trustee and honorary attorney of the Jewish Community Services. As an avid collector of books and Holocaust postal history, Ben’s contribution to the welfare of others in our community is as eternal and binding as his love for his wife Esther and his four children.

Ben received an award from JCC/JCS for his dedication to Jewish Community Services and the certificate was handed to him at a recent Exco meeting.
