A large contingent of happy members recently spent three nights at the Goudini warm water baths . The group of 37 Seniors and 3 Staff members boarded the Glendale bus and our kombis and enjoyed three days of fellowship, laughter and happy experiences. The oldest member of the group was 97 years young, sprightly and often one of the first in the pool every time we went there. The weather was fantastic and everyone interacted beautifully .
We ventured into Worcester where we toured the Industrial section of the Worcester School for the Blind, enjoyed a liesurely lunch at a beautiful garden centre and were treated to a special braai by the Worcester Lions.
This year we even had a couple from Uitenhage join the party and they enjoyed being with us , making many new friends.
Since the break, new acquaintances have already met to reminisce and plan to do so on a regular basis.
